TPEE: Structure and characteristics: Thermoplastic elastomers have the same structural type, with sufficient physical cross-linking segments in their molecular types, also known as dissociation of ionic bonds at high temperatures, and random twisting of high elastic chains. TPEE belongs to block copolymers containing aromatic polyester hard segments and aliphatic polyester or polyether soft segments, commonly known as polyester rubber bio degradable materials. The strength of the linear block segments in TPEE polymers mainly comes from the molecular formula polyester segments or hard segments, dispersed in the amorphous soft segments of the continuous phase.
The TPEE elastomer is composed of a disordered network and partially continuous crystalline network structure, consisting of soft segments and amorphous segments that continuously aggregate into ester blocks. Under other mechanical influences, stress in bio based polymer materials is transmitted to the crystalline phase. As the crystal gradually orients under stress, the stress is transmitted to the mesh like part, and the final stress is borne by the high elastic region TPEE has extraordinary performance and excellent heat resistance under high and low temperature conditions. After testing, it has been found that the general universal type can still maintain its proportion in a continuously heated environment of 110-140 ℃ for ten hours. It has good frost resistance, good flexibility in low temperature environments, and maintains excellent impact resistance. In the case of small strain forces, its significant elastic mold is better than other thermoplastic materials of the same level. Compared with TPU, it will not harden in low temperature environments, and its acid and alkali resistance will be stronger than TPV. Not to mention, the elasticity of TPEE alone is close to 1/5 higher than TPU. However, TPEE has certain defects. When in high-temperature hot water, its performance is relatively poor and its flexibility is insufficient. And it is relatively expensive in terms of price, however, TPEE is a highly green and environmentally friendly material that can be recycled and reused, making it a fully biodegradable material for daily life, Various fields such as industry are showing a trend of rapid development.
